Some very interesting items are coming in for auction this year:
1. A cast photo from Star Trek: TNG, signed by every member of the cast!
2. Drinks for you and a guest with Lee Arenberg on Saturday evening after the Masquerade!
3. Lunch for you and a guest with Felicia Day on Sunday!
As a reminder, our auction procedures are changing this year. All items will be displayed in the Art Show located in Chesapeake 3-6. Just as you make silent bids for the Art Show, you will use your same bidder number to make silent bids on our Charity Auction items. Items with at least 3 bids will go to one of the two live auctions being held during the convention (Friday evening immediately before the Prometheus Radio Theatre performance in the Dulaney Valley ballroom at 8pm or Saturday evening during Masquerade half time). Drinks with Lee will be auctioned live on Friday; lunch with Felicia will be auctioned live on Saturday. Live auction items will be paid for immediately after the live auction is completed.
Bidding on the Charity Auction silent items will close at the same time as the Art Show silent bidding. The winning bidders for Charity Auction items with less than 3 bids can pick up and pay for their items during the Art Show check-out on Sunday morning.
All Charity Auction and Art Show purchases can be paid for in cash, check, or credit card (MC/V/AmEx). This year’s Charity Auction recipients are the Vietnam Veterans Association in memory of Fou Aide and the Julien Fleming Fund.
